I decided to complete my PADI scuba diving class. I spoke with a few dive shops in the area and was excited when I spoke with Jono who spent much time with me over a number of phone calls, happy to explain what the details of the course entailed. I felt comfortable with my decision based on the time I was given on the phone by Jono and the lack of information from other dive shops in this area. I heard the idea that you get what you pay for and believed that I would get excellent value diving with Dive In Adventures. Needless to say, I completed my private diving course and felt excited to continue to dive. Jono as my instructor spent time with me and teaching me more than just the dive skills I would need to accomplish to become a certified diver. I also learned about the corals and marine life on our local reefs here. These are actually the same reef systems and marine life as in the Caribbean. I learned so much more about diving than I ever thought I would when I began my course. I am now planning a trip to Turks & Caicos through Jono and Dive In Adventures where my wife can relax and I will be able to do some more diving. What an exciting new world I have had opened to me. I turned 56 and decided to do something that I wanted to do since I was young, before my body totally fell apart-Scuba Dive. I was blessed to find a great caring, knowledgeable and patient instructor who also has a great, although a little weird, sense of humor. Jono put me right at ease and gave me an "I can do it attitude". His expertise is impressive and teaching thorough but I had a great time and felt very comfortable underwater with Jono at my side. I now am an Advanced Open Water Diver and have about 50 dives under my belt between diving in Upstate New York and Florida but whenever I return to Florida Jono is on my speed dial. Great teacher and a great guy.

I finished my open water course with Jono at Dive In Adventures.  This was one of the most exciting things I had done in my life.  I had done a couple of the resort dives in the Caribbean and was surprised to see more fish here in Florida then in both Jamaica and Dominican Republic.  I thanked Jono after each dive for being patient and showing me this new world.  Jono was always happy to explain what types of fish we saw and helped me to also understand that corals are not rocks, but little animals living in colonies.  I am very glad that I took my course with Dive In Adventures as I felt confident that I was being taught well throughout the course.

I was very nervous to do my diving course, but wanted to be able to go with my husband who was certified already.  We found Dive In Adventures and were extremely happy with the quick response and the time that Jono took to explain how the course would work and what I would need to do.  Having the private instructor was worth spending a bit more money.  Jono was very patient with me as I struggled through the pool and was very nervous for the dives.  After completing the 4 dives, Jono had me take 2 more dives to get some more experience for no extra charge.  Since then, I have done many dives and still thank Jono for his excellent teaching style.

I have been diving for many years now and came to Florida for the first time this past year.  I was amazed with the reef and the ease of drift diving here.  I saw many fish and saw a hammerhead shark even.  It came really close to us and Jono swam right towards it.  It was a very exciting dive and I will definitely come back again and will dive with Jono when I do.

I finally did my course with my older brother.  It was great having an instructor focused just on us.  I had a friend do his course a few months before through a different dive shop and he was with 4 other people that were really having a hard time and he said the course wasn't good because of that.  We met with Jono and he explained the course.  After figuring out how to clear our mask in the pool, we went for our first dives in the ocean and I couldn't believe that I didn't do this sooner.  There was so much stuff to look at.  I will definitely do more diving since I live here.  Thanks again Dive In Adventures.
